PLAYERLOOM HELP CENTER

How can we help?

Quick answers and step-by-step guidance for setting up your athlete, organizing media, building the Journey, managing family access, and publishing a public profile.

GETTING STARTED

Start with the basics.

What is PlayerLoom?

PlayerLoom gives families one organized place to manage an athlete's profile, media, Journey, public story, and recruiting-focused content.

How do I create an athlete?

Sign in to the family portal, open Athletes, and choose the option to add a new athlete. Complete the athlete's basic information, then continue into the athlete workspace to build out the profile.

How do I edit an athlete's information?

Open the athlete from the family workspace and use the athlete profile sections to update playing information, school details, biography, position, jersey number, and other profile data.

How do family accounts work?

A PlayerLoom family can contain multiple family members and athletes. Authorized family members can help manage athlete content without creating a separate copy of the athlete profile.

ATHLETE PROFILE

Shape the public story.

How do I update the profile photo?

Open the athlete's Media area, choose an uploaded image, and assign it as the Profile Photo. PlayerLoom will use that image wherever the athlete's profile photo is needed.

How do I change the hero banner?

In the athlete's Media workspace, assign an image as the Hero Banner. Use the framing controls to position the image before saving the banner framing.

How do I make an athlete profile public?

Open the athlete's Public Profile settings, review the profile content, and enable the public profile when it is ready to share.

What information appears publicly?

The public profile is built from the athlete information and media that your family chooses to publish. Private Media Library items are not automatically exposed simply because they were uploaded.

MEDIA

Organize photos and film.

How do I upload photos or videos?

Open the athlete's Media tab and use Add Media for uploaded files. PlayerLoom stores the asset in the athlete's Media Library so it can be reused throughout the profile.

How do I add media from a link?

Use Add From Link in the Media workspace for supported external media such as YouTube. The linked item becomes part of the athlete's Media Library without requiring a duplicate uploaded file.

What are media assignments?

Assignments tell PlayerLoom how a Media Library item should be used. The same asset can support profile presentation, a hero banner, gallery content, Journey entries, or other supported purposes without storing duplicate copies.

How do I choose Featured Film?

Find the video in the Media Library and use its Featured Film action. The selected film can then appear in the athlete's public profile.

How do I remove a media item?

Open the media item's detail view and use the delete action. Review any usage information first so you understand where the item is currently being used.

JOURNEY

Capture the moments that matter.

What is the Athlete Journey?

Journey is a timeline for seasons, teams, games, camps, tournaments, awards, development, milestones, and other meaningful moments in an athlete's story.

How do I create a Journey entry?

Open Journey from the athlete workspace and choose Add Journey Entry. Select the type of moment, add the details, and save the entry.

How do I attach an existing image?

Edit the Journey entry and use the Media Library picker to attach an existing image. This reuses the original asset instead of uploading another copy.

How do I remove an image from a Journey entry?

Edit the Journey entry and use Remove from Journey on the attached image. The image remains in the Media Library unless you separately delete the media asset itself.

FAMILY & ACCOUNT

Manage access together.

How do I invite another family member?

Open Family from the portal sidebar and use the family invitation controls. The invited person receives an invitation to join the existing PlayerLoom family.

What can other family members access?

Family members work within the shared family workspace. Their available actions depend on the family access and role rules supported by PlayerLoom.
